How to increase your 70% VA rating to 100%

To increase a 70% VA disability rating, veterans can add additional service-connected conditions, appeal the rating of any of their conditions, or seek total disability based on individual unemployability (TDIU) benefits. Veterans with a 70% rating for a single condition already meet the eligibility requirements for TDIU, which pays the same monthly amount as a 100% rating.

VA pauses rollout of Electronic Health Records program

The VA said its new Oracle-Cerner Electronic Health Record will not go live as planned later this year at its Saginaw, Michigan medical center. The EHR system is currently being used at five VA locations around the country. It had been set to go live in Saginaw this summer after continued issues and  delays. Meanwhile, the Department of Defense has the same system up and running in a majority of its medical facilities.
